CANNES COMIC
Writer/Creator
The Cannes Comic kicked off in 2016, when I was asked to fill five pages with something fun and festival-flavoured. My relationship with the Cannes Lions is... complicated, and every year, that tension spills out in comic strip form.
Since then, the Cannes Comic has become a wild little tradition. I’ve had the joy of working with some of the best artists in the game, from JAKe to Benjamin Marra—telling all kinds of strange stories about that even stranger week of parties, networking and inevitable Doom.
What started as five pages has now morphed into a full-blown 24-page issue. These days, the format’s settled into something familiar: a lovingly sharp parody of a popular movie, brought to life with my longtime collaborator and partner-in-crime, Joe Tottie.
