About
I’m Christopher Baker. Im a writer, creative strategist and new business lead with over 15 years in the thick of the advertising, production, and storytelling worlds.
I’ve spent my career building rosters, shaping pitches, and landing work. From commercials and music videos to long-form and branded content, I’ve helped agencies and clients connect with directors who deliver. Currently, I head up New Business at Park Village, driving opportunities for a roster of world-class filmmakers under one of London’s most iconic studio roofs.
Before that, I was Director’s Agent and Head of Sales at Bullion Productions, leading the charge on everything from award-winning work to roster development. I’ve also held senior sales and talent roles at Moxie Pictures, Iconoclast, MindsEye, and Mad Cow Films—always focused on high-level creative partnerships, relationship-building, and carving space for bold voices in a crowded market.
Alongside my work in production, I’m also the author of numerous comics and graphic novels—including Apollo, an international success that reimagines the story of the moon landing with cinematic ambition and emotional depth. My writing spans sci-fi, satire, and historical drama, with work published and reviewed around the world. I also co-founded Dead Canary Comics, a cult indie imprint known for pushing ambitious, high-concept storytelling and championing emerging artists.
In recent years, I’ve moved into screenwriting. I’ve sold several screenplays—including an original TV series currently in development, my debut horror short BACKMASK has picked up multiple festival awards for Best Film and Best Director. I continue to develop feature scripts with long-time writing partner Matt Fitch.
Whether I’m leading sales, developing talent, or writing stories that cut through the noise, I bring creative energy and sharp commercial instinct to everything I do. If you’re looking to collaborate, pitch, or simply talk shop—get in touch.
